Anthony St. Amant

Head Coach

Anthony became part of Fort Worth Rugby in 2022, building on an impressive rugby background. A proud alumnus of UNT, he has not only played for but also led Grand Prairie Maverick Rugby as its president. With coaching experience dating back to 2016, including four years as an assistant coach at the University of Dallas, Anthony is stepping up this year as the head coach of Fort Worth Rugby, ready to lead the club to new heights.

Gordon Hanlon

Assistant Coach / Recruitment

Gordon’s connection to rugby runs deep, beginning with his early years at Belvedere College in Ireland, where he honed his skills before playing for Skerries RFC. Gordon then continued his playing career in the United States with the Dallas Athletic Rugby Club (DARC) in Texas. Transitioning from player to coach, Gordon has built an impressive coaching resume, contributing to the development of rugby at prestigious clubs around the world. He has coached at Crusaders in New Zealand, CDUL in Portugal, TSV Handschuhsheim in Germany, Austin Gilgronis (MLR), and USA Rugby Pathways.

John Paul "JP" Rodriguez

President

JP has been with the Ft. Worth since 2005. A Texas All-Star in 2014 and 2015, JP has been holding down the front row for the team both as a team captain in previous years and the President now.

John Blodgett

Merchandise Chair

JT discovered rugby in 2014 during high school and went on to play competitively at the University of Maryland from 2015 to 2019, including a memorable appearance at the 7s Collegiate Rugby Championships in 2018. After moving to the DFW area in 2023, he now contributes to the club as the merchandise chair.

Dan Morgan

Old Boys Club, Pres.

Dan has been with Ft. Worth since the 90's filling a variety of administrative positions, two playing retirements and a role as head coach. Dan now takes on the task of the head of the Old Boys program.

Josh Stella

Treasurer

Josh’s rugby journey began in 2006 with Panther City Rugby Club. After high school, he continued his passion for the sport at the University of Alabama, where he played for two years. Following a nearly decade-long break, Josh reignited his rugby career by joining FWRC in 2021.
